Interval module	Intervals going up or down up to 3 octaves. Melodic, harmonic or sustained playback. Fixed, selectable or random root note. Notation is included.
Scale module	28 fixed, named scales, incl. diminished, chromatic, blues and pentatonic scales.
Chord module	48 fixed, named chords + alternate positions, 128 chords total. Melodic, harmonic or sustained playback. Fixed, selectable or random root note. Notation is included.
Inversion module	Triads and 7th chords. Each inversion can be included or excluded. Melodic, harmonic or sustained playback. Fixed, selectable or random root note. Notation is included.
Melody module	Length of melodies 1 - 15 notes. Play in any key. Choose between 8 tonalities (scales: major, minor, pure minor, melodic minor, harmonic minor , major pentatonic, minor pentatonic, chromatic). Define interval sizes. Notation is included (melody dictation). Includes sight reading. Supports singing.
Rhythm module	Time signatures: 2/2, 3/8, 3/4, 4/4, cut time, 5/4, 6/8, 7/8. Up to 6 bars at a time. Optional note values from whole note to sixteenth notes with or without triplets. Optional rests, dots and ties. Optional middle bar. Selectable rhythmic sensitivity. Includes pure listening, pure reading and combined listening/reading.
Chord Progression	2, 3 and 4 step progressions. Answer by point-and-click or by keyboard/popup-list. More than 40 progressions in fixed or variable key.
Special features	Build-in EarTutor - your personal intelligent trainer - see bottom of chart. Scalable window. Use all of your available screen-resolution; the elements in Earope scales too! Looks great in 800x640 as well as 1600x1200! Easy to get started with a friendly user interface Right-clicking on any problem plays it AND shows it's notation. When playing on your MIDI-keyboard, Earope shows the chord names of what you play. Tip-of-the day helps use Earope to the max and supplys good advice on the best way to exercise your valuable ears!

Answer input	Point to the answer in a list (not in the Melody and Rhythm modules). Write as music (note Scale and Rhythm module). Input answer with the mouse using the on-screen, 4 octave piano (all modules). Play an external MIDI-keyboard (all modules). Supports up to 8 MIDI-in devices. Tap the shift-keys on the computer keyboard or the buttons on the mouse (Rhythm module only).
Response and evaluation	Intelligent score system calculates all the parameters influencing the difficulty. The answer is shown as music and as "fingerprints" on the piano. The correctness of the answer is shown visually and/or with definable digital sounds or MIDI sounds.
Multi user	Profiles can be created for an unlimited number of users. The profiles are automatically maintained, based on results. The profiles can be saved on disks an used on another computer.
Controlled training	The build-in EarTutor will lead the user through a session of exercises, based on the user's profile. The EarTutor updates the profile and "remembers" the user's level from session to session. The EarTutor delivered with Earope includes from 60 to 200 exercises in each module. New EarTutors will become available on the internet.
